Co-Founder and CEO
Steven has a proven track record of creating compelling consumer products at technology giants like ATI, AMD and Qualcomm. At ATI, he established the Mobile Devices team, expanding it to over 600 engineers across three continents. In 2012, Steven founded Caribou, aiming to deliver top-quality software solutions for remote device management and IoT sectors. At Caribou he is passionate about nurturing a culture of technical excellence and personal growth, emphasizing customer success through trust and a strong work ethic. A hands-on technical leader, Steven is confident operating at all engineering levels with the focus of delivering value to customers/partners and delighting the end consumer.
Abhishek Aggarwal
Co-Founder and CTO
With two decades of industry experience, Abhishek is a key figure at Caribou. He draws on insights from his previous roles at industry giants like Nvidia and PortalPlayer, underpinned by a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Kurukshetra University. Abhishek champions work-life balance, tech innovation, and people-centric policies. His hands-on approach to tasks, spanning solution design, coding, and issue analysis, mirrors Caribou's dedication to excellence and innovation, making him instrumental to the company's achievements.
V. Vamshi Krishna
Head of Firmware Engineering
Vamshi excels in embedded firmware development, mobile app development, and network stack. He holds a BTECH (CSE) from JNTU Hyderabad. With over 15 years of professional experience, he has made significant contributions to leading technology companies such as D-Link, Motorola and Qualcomm. At Caribou, Vamshi thrives on the exhilarating challenges associated with cloud and embedded hardware. Guided by dynamic and results-oriented leadership, he finds his work both stimulating and gratifying.
Dr. Rajiv Joshi
Head of Cloud Engineering
Dr. Rajiv Joshi holds a Ph.D. in Image Processing and Remote Sensing from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing Dehradun (A Pioneering research Institute under the Indian Space Research Organization). Rajiv possesses over 20 years of experience in the Software Industry working in a wide range of frontend and backend technologies. He has developed solutions across a wide variety of industry segments, such as financial platforms, payment processing, IoT, Healthcare and space exploration. He has also served the government of India as a Project Scientist in the Indian Space Research Organization.
Shyam Sandeep K.
Head of Product Quality
Sandeep, a tech industry veteran with 20+ years of experience at Nvidia and Qualcomm, excels in embedded systems, product development, quality engineering, system programming, and agile methodologies. Holding a PMP® certification, he swiftly resolves project challenges. Sandeep earned his Bachelor’s in Electronics from JNTU Hyderabad and is enthusiastic about Caribou's dynamic team culture. He relishes the opportunity to explore emerging technologies and collaborate closely with customers, ensuring their success.
